2021 Global AI Finance Research Conference


The FinTech Research & Education Center (Director: Kyojik “Roy” Song) at Sungkyunkwan University and the Korea Finance Association will be holding the annual international conference in the city of Yeosu, Korea on December 13 to 14, 2021.
The conference provides a platform for researchers and practitioners from academia and industry to present current research and stimulate exchanges on new developments in FinTech areas. In consideration of the on-going COVID19 pandemic, the conference will have two combined formats: online and onsite. The conference will follow the format of an international academic conference.


TOPICS: 
Papers in all areas of FinTech are welcome. Topics of interest include:
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning
- Cryptocurrencies
- Initial Coin Offerings (ICO)
- Blockchain applications
- Peer-to-peer lending
- Big data
- High-frequency trading and market liquidity
- Digitalization in financial services
- Financial regulation in the new era of FinTech

KEYNOTE SPEECH:
DeFi: Opportunities and Risks by Campbell R. Harvey, Professor of Finance at the Fuqua School of Business of Duke University

PAPER SUBMISSIONS:
Papers must be submitted at https://www.conftool.net/global-ai-finance2021/. The submission deadline is 30 September, 2021. The authors will be notified of the review committee’s decision by 31October, 2021.

SUPPORT FOR PARTICIPANTS:
For onsite presenters, free domestic transportation, accommodation of one night, and free meals will be provided. For international online presenters, a small amount of honorarium will be awarded. Also, two best papers will be awarded.
