The Asian Review of Financial Research (ARFR) is a quarterly-published academic journal founded by the Korean Finance Association in 1988. It publishes high quality research papers across all the major field of financial economics, focusing on the issues in Asia. The scope of ARFR covers corporate finance, investments, capital and security markets, and quantitative methods of particular relevance to financial researchers. The Journal welcomes both theoretical and empirical research, and in particular, theoretical papers that yield novel testable implications and empirical papers that are theoretically well motivated. ARFR aims to be the most widely cited academic journal devoted to the study of knowledge about financial economics in the Asia-pacific region.
